Foodie's top 2 what-to-avoid this week

1. BambĂș Signature Stir-Fry at Bambu, Maplewood
Why? Unless you really (and I can't stress the "really" enough) love broccoli, steer away from this stir-fry which the menu calls their "most popular dish - Stir fried fresh broccoli, mushrooms, peapods, carrots, water chestnuts, baby corn, and your choice of protein in our special house brown sauce." In reality, the dish consists of 85% broccoli and a sparing sprinkling of  everything else.

2. Spicy Penne at Pazzaluna, Saint Paul
Why? Extremely low on salt, very high on garlic to the point that garlic is pretty much the only dominant flavor.
